SOLO of America was created in April of 2002 to address the challenges of present day support systems that people with disabilities have come to depend upon. Working alongside families and their loved ones on assisting, developing, and striving to achieve individual goals combined with honoring personal choices. We offer the following services: * Day Programs * Respite Services * Attendant Care * Habilitation * Group-Supported Employment OUR MISSION Self-Organized Living Opportunities By: Supporting and working alongside individuals to assist in accomplishing their dreams. By honoring their personal choices, daily living milestones and increasing their abilities to become more independent. OUR VISION: To support each individual through daily living skills, social skills and vocational trainings utilizing community resources and experiences that will make our Mission attainable to each individual we serve. OUR VALUES: Honoring each person as an individual not their disability. Envisioning the future the individual aspires through their dreams, wants and desires. Encouraging independence by life events that inspire more choices. Acceptance by the community as a whole that we all are individuals with dreams, hopes, passions and aspirations for our future that are ours to achieve no matter what the path.
