About Solomon Center for Health Law and Policy at Yale Law School
The Solomon Center for Health Law and Policy at Yale Law School is one of the preeminent health law and policy centers in the country, and the first of its kind to focus on the intersection of law and the governance, practice, and business of health care. The Center brings together leading experts and practitioners from the public and private sectors to address cutting-edge questions of health law and policy, as well as train the next generation of top health lawyers, industry leaders, policymakers, and academics. It is also the only top law school program in the country with a thriving Medical-Legal Partnership. The Center has a broad reach, routinely drawing hundreds of people from the fields of business, law, medicine, and policy to its weekly events. The Center's programming includes many academic and experiential course offerings, career planning, research output, policy advocacy, litigation briefs, and numerous high-profile panels and conferences. Recent years have included pathbreaking research in areas ranging from cancer policy, to the opioid crisis, to gun policy, and the Affordable Care Act. The Center’s work is highly interdisciplinary.
