Founded in 2001 and privately owned and funded, SoluBest is an Israel based formulation solution provider specializing in a broad spectrum of formulation and delivery challenges involving: - Bioavailability - Stability - Solubility - Particle design the optimisation - Scale up and industrialisation of formulation technologies SoluBest is pursuing a Two-Pronged Business Model: a) Solubest provides custom services by leveraging its expertise in the development of novel formulations for solubility challenged molecules, using either proprietary or off the shelf drug delivery technologies. This activity allows SoluBest to both generate short term income and/or long term royalty arrangements, as well as opportunities as a custom supplier for Pharma and non-Pharma applications. b) Solubest develops its own speciality pharma products, which it spins as projects mature. Projects that have progressed into clinical stages (or in some cases, pre-clinical proofs of concept) are spun out into new ventures for their commercialisation through equity-based joint ventures, and/or licensing-out agreements based on down- and milestones-payments. Several JVs are currently being formed. In this context, SoluBest has developed a proprietary, Industry validated drug delivery platform for significantly improving the bio-availability of small molecule drugs by generating proprietary smart drug-polymer sub-micron particles in which drug molecules are interwoven within FDA-approved polymers. Once in the body, these formulations disintegrate into stable colloidal dispersions, significantly increasing drug absorption, thus improving the performance of active substances.
