Founded in 2016 and based in Johannesburg, South Africa, Solzen Energy is the energy company and a start-up specializing in R&D, design and manufacturing of disruptive energy storage technologies for application in renewable energy, automotive (electric vehicles), grid storage (on and off the grid) and telecommunications industries. We are currently on prototype development and application phase of a robust Ultracapacitor built on nanotechnology and manufacturing proprietary process. Our technology stores as much energy as in a lithium ion battery but can be recharged in seconds or minutes. It can tolerate over 100,000 charging cycles without losing its capacitance and has long life cycle. We aim to bring this technology to market in the 4th quarter of 2019. Our MISSION is to make the difference in the global energy industry by pioneering technologies that address energy storage problems in the renewable energy, telecommunications, grid storage and automotive industries.
