Since the firm’s founding we have followed certain fundamental principles, which have served us well and made Somerley into what it is today – one of the most active financial advisory firms in the Greater China region. Our corporate finance advisory services mainly include: • acting as financial adviser to Hong Kong public listed companies, major shareholders and investors of these companies and parties seeking to control or invest in listed companies (mostly in transactions which involve the Hong Kong Listing Rules and/or Takeovers Code). This includes acting as arranger in connection with the introduction of investors to listed companies in Hong Kong and/or their major shareholders in a takeover transaction; • acting as independent financial adviser to independent board committees and/or independent shareholders of listed companies; •acting as sponsor to clients pursuing an IPO. Somerley Capital is also a licensed sponsor with three registered Principals and a professional team specialised in providing sponsorship services; and • acting as compliance adviser, mostly for newly listed companies in Hong Kong.
