Somers Capital is a vertically integrated boutique hotel investment firm comprised of industry leading executives. With an in-house property management company and direct booking platform, our firm is able to perform at levels superior to competitors. We are driven by a focused mission to bring tired assets back to life while improving guest experiences and the communities for each property in our portfolio. Somers Capitals’ disciplined investment approach focuses on targeting under-performing, well located properties. We aim to identify assets in markets with strong fundamentals and growing tourism metrics. All of the properties we acquire have strong value-add characteristics that allow us to reposition the asset through capital improvements, renovations to both exteriors and interiors, improvements in operations, decreasing expenses, and improvements to marketing. With our in-house property management company, we are able to operate each asset free of onsite management which gives us full control and allows us to effectively implement the property’s business plan immediately upon acquisition. Throughout the due diligence process, our acquisitions team works closely with our asset management team, property management team, and construction team to formulate a unique business plan for each asset we acquire.
