For almost three decades the name SOMMER Messtechnik stands for innovative, high-quality products in the manufacturing and development of measuring systems and sensor technology for meteorology and hydrology in environmental engineering. Our latest innovative sensor is a non-contact discharge measurement system with RADAR (sensor RQ-30). This sensor allows you the first time to get realtime measurement even in flood condition when conventional measurement equipment cannot be used anymore. Another field of specialisation is snow measurement. From simple snow height measurement with our USH-8 to SWE measurment with the SSG snow scale. With our SPA system SWE but also liquid content in snow layers can be analyesed and the run off can be predicted.
