About Somnex

Somnex is developing a VR headset intended for practical use in work and collaboration. The goal is to create a digital environment that connects more naturally with real-world workflows, reducing distraction and supporting sustained focus. Over time, the project aims to rethink how people use digital tools by moving away from fragmented multitasking and toward a unified workspace. This involves reworking both hardware and interface to better support deep work, communication, and task management. Somnex is in early development. Current work includes hardware prototyping, lens and optics research, and interface design. The focus is on long-term usability and integration, not short-term novelty.
