About Son of a Pit
We are a women/veteran-owned pet products subscription service with a focus on Pitbulls & Large breed dogs. Son of a Pit, Inc (SOAP) began creating dog food in January 2017 when our Founder Michelle Smith brought home her first blue nose pitbull, Jonas. Because of his allergies and so many dog food products being recalled at that time, Michelle decided that she would make his food herself. After consulting with her Veterinarian and developing the right recipe that included all of the nutrients her growing boy needed, SOAP was in action. As she began to create her recipes for Jonas she decided to post them on social media platforms and the requests started coming in. In a matter of months, SOAP had over 80 customers just from one social media platform alone and only servicing the local counties near the Jacksonville, Florida area. Now two years later, Son of a Pit, Inc has decided to branch out and launch the brand online to attract new customers to the Viddles line of food as well as the other items. Son of a Pit, Inc is dedicated to providing organic, fresh food for pitbull and large breed dogs. As well as providing treats, clothing, toys, accessories and more.
