Songbird Society was founded to rehumanize the music industry by creating a supportive environment where artists’ well-being, authenticity, and growth are at the forefront. Recognizing that many artists are exhausted by the manipulative and unsustainable norms of the industry, we’re here to provide them with the tools, support, and community they need to thrive—without sacrificing their integrity or mental health. Through our diverse range of services, we help artists break free from industry gatekeepers and develop sustainable, fulfilling careers in which they can maintain their well-being, autonomy, IP ownership, and creative control. Our Online Membership program, The Flock, aims to empower independent artists, songwriters, and producers by offering access to professional development and collaborative opportunities in a nurturing community. While our first focus is on strengthening the South Australian creative ecosystem, The Flock also connects members to national and international peers, creating pathways for artistic growth and career opportunities beyond geographic limitations. In just three years, we have supported over 200 artists across Australia, North America, and Europe, helping them build sustainable careers while staying true to their values. By bridging the gap between independent artists and the resources traditionally only found in global hubs like LA and London, Songbird Society is equipping the next generation of independent artists with the skills and support needed to make a meaningful impact on the world stage without needing to sacrifice their well-being, autonomy, IP ownership, and creative control.
