Founded in 1977 Sonic Systems International (SSI) is a full-service quality-consulting firm serving the nuclear power generation utility industry. We provide quality-based solutions to a wide range of technical compliance efforts, either scheduled or emergent, for in-service inspection, reactor maintenance, reactor refuel management, quality engineering, decommissioning tasks, such as handling spent fuel transfer into ISFSIs [independent spent fuel storage installations], and automated or manual NDE in-service inspection challenges, in over twenty countries around the globe. Our staff of career-minded employees averages 25 years of experience that spans the full scope of integrated technical services for both Pressurized Water Reactors (PWR) and Boiling Water Reactors (BWR). We deliver on site plant /outage specific solutions that combine project-management tools, quality program management, and industry best practices to solve nearly any regulatory, inspection, quality validation, or engineering support challenge. We routinely use these extensive capabilities to deliver on consulting engagements that can vary from a few hours of subject matter expert advice to deployment of large-scale, multifaceted project teams involving up to 100 technical support personnel for an entire refuel outage. We are a powerful part of our customer’s team, and measure OUR success from our customer's success, by assuring the projects scope of work gets executed, safely, ahead of schedule, under difficult or constantly changing conditions while minimizing the impact to critical path.
