About Sonoma Valley Authors' Festival

Please join us for the 4th annual Sonoma Valley Authors Festival, August 27-29, 2021. Continuing our goal of “stimulating the Minds and Nurturing the Souls of Readers”, the 2021 program will engage, enlighten and entertain guests during another extraordinary weekend. Over the course of 3 days, authors from around the world will discuss their books, their lives, and their ideas with an audience of 450 Festival attendees. The authors will reflect a variety of topics and include fiction and non-fiction, biographies, history, politics, adventure, medicine, and science. Also participating in the Festival will be thought leaders who are transforming lives through medicine, technology, and science. The Festival will feature 9 keynote speakers and 16 choices for breakout sessions including Isabel Allende, Billy Collins, Amy Tan, Daniel James Brown, Dave Barry and more. Continuing our commitment to inspire students, the separate educational program—Students Day—will be held at Sonoma Valley High School on Friday, May 1, 2019 for 2,700 local middle and high school students. This special program enables students to hear from, and interact with, 12 of the Festival authors and speakers. Books are given free to the students, written by the presenting authors, all paid for with private donations.
