SosteNica empowers the people of Nicaragua to achieve healthy lives within vibrant, sustainable communities. We offer investment and donation opportunities directly to individual and institutional investors in the US. CEPRODEL and FUDEMI oversee the issuance of credit, together with the processing and administration of loans, to Nicaraguan borrowers. In addition to extending loans to credit worthy, low-income applicants, SosteNica promotes sustainable agriculture by working with farmers and with university extension programs to provide training in subjects such as integrated pest management, soil conservation, reforestation, water conservation and management, watershed protection and other ecologically sustainable practices.
