Soudal is the largest independent European manufacturer of sealants, adhesives and polyurethane foams for professional and private users. This 100% Belgian family business, headquartered in Turnhout and founded by current chairman Vic Swerts in 1966, has developed into an international player and expert in chemical construction specialties. The Soudal Group manufactures products for its own brands and private labels covering 6 main product groups: silicones and other sealants, polyurethane foams, adhesives, hybrid polymers, technical aerosols and chemical building products. Continued investments in R&D, a long-term vision for innovation and adaptations to local market requirements are the foundations for Soudal's excellent performance. As a result of the most modern production technology, energy, water usage, and residual waste is limited. Soudal operates 31 production plants and employs 4.300 people worldwide. Our foam plant in Turnhout is the world’s largest and most sophisticated factory for construction and polyurethane foams in aerosol cans. It is our belief that it is necessary to be as close as possible to our markets. Therefore Soudal operates 80 sales offices with local staff and warehouses all over the world to guarantee an optimized logistic- and technical service. Over the last decades, Soudal had an impressive average growth of 12% / year through strong autonomous growth and well-targeted acquisitions.
