About Soulset Studios

Creating memorable experiences through sound for your brand or audio visual production: My name is Thalia Skopellos and I am a sound composer and Founder of Soulset Studios. I specialise in emotional, upbeat, chillout, happy, feel-good music to hybrid orchestral, Pixar style synth driven scores for audio visual productions (production music) and commercial releases. I was the recipient of the NATSIMO Screen Composer Intensive in 2024 and recently composed a 45 minute score for Sydney Festival immersive art space Colour Maze for children. I have composed music for a number of other brands including Ableton, Fremantle Biennale, Melodie Music and Beats Fresh Publishing and my commercial releases have been featured on a number of playlists such as Just Chill, New Dance Beats, Deadly Beats, Sunday Sessions, Fresh Finds AU & NZ, House Sounds and Blak Hits for Kids, including airplay on triple j and triple j unearthed. I’ve also won silver in composition at the AEFF Awards, and nominated for Los Angeles Movie & Music Video Awards awards amongst others. As a composer (who is vegan), my goal is to support sustainable, ethical, vegan brands and audio visual productions that align with the values of Soulset Studios in creating memorable experiences through sound to enhance storytelling and reinforce the messaging about compassion, ethical living, and the planet's well-being and healing.
