About sound & sea photography

greetings and salutations! i have been obsessed with art my entire life and found my niche in the film and photography world. like a cat, i have had many lives. i was a film school student, a stay at home mom, a social worker, a sales professional, and now i am a full time entrepreneur and professional photographer…and i love it. never have i been more nourished by a career. all of my life interests have led me here, and hopefully to working with you. as of 2018, julie morgan photography has become a mother/daughter team! my daughter sophia acts as my assistant, second shooter, and/or videographer depending on the package you choose. go female entrepreneurs! ha! i enjoy many different styles and types of photography, but i tend to favor a documentary style and try and capture as many authentic moments as possible. we will always cover the traditional posed shots as well, per request. my editing style is rich and dramatic, reminiscent of my favorite kodak, fuji, and ilford film stocks. i mostly utilize natural light, but using a hint of flash can be an epic thing, so i got you covered for any type of lighting situation. i tend to shy away from trends and present photographs that will be as timeless, artistic, and beautiful today as they will be in twenty years time. shoot me a text, email, or give me a call (what is that?!?) & we can discuss your needs. want to meet up for coffee? if you are local to seattle, i am always down to meet potential clients to ensure we are a great fit. if you aren’t local, we can always skype or facetime as well. hope to hear from you soon!
