Soundwest Engineering Associates, Inc. (Soundwest), is an engineering consulting firm based in Kitsap County, Washington. We specialize in providing engineering and project management services through all aspects of your project from initial planning to construction completion. Our clients include port districts, municipalities, and other government agencies as well as select private clients. Our small team of highly experienced and diversely capable professionals, combined with our extensive network of trusted associates, enables us to offer an exceptionally uncommon combination of experience and value. OUR MISSION Civil engineer and senior project manager, John Piccone, formed Soundwest to offer our local public agency clients an alternative when they require consultant assistance with their projects. As a former City Engineer and seasoned capital project manager, John understands agency requirements and the fact that expectations for service and deliverables are high, as they should be for work that is accountable to the public. Having managed numerous public projects, as both a public employee and a consultant, John also knows that while the necessary deliverable quality is often only found with larger firms, value is sacrificed and service beyond the current scope & budget are typically reduced to marketing.
