Background South Africa Vision Energy has entered the South African energy-saving segment in an effort to provide the South African Public Sector as well as Private sector with a long-term, affordable and practical solution that will help to reduce energy-consumption and to counter the ever-escalating electricity prices. It is a well known fact that, during the last five years, in South Africa the demand for electricity has exceeded supply; leading to an ongoing shortage of electricity and untimely and counter-productive load-shedding by ESKOM. Over the past 4 years electricity tariffs have increased by 25% per annum with more double-digit increases expected to come. This will put the profitability of many businesses at risk. With this in mind, South Africa Vision Energy was founded during 2012 with the express purpose to save Government, Commercial- and Industrial Customers throughout South Africa money and save valuable resources through the supply and installation of our innovative energy-saving lighting technology. 2.
