About South African Conversations

South African Conversations is a certified Level 2 B-BBEE, social-entrepreneurial, for-profit publishing initiative that fosters meaningful, inclusive conversations, shares practical, liberating information, and creates income-generating opportunities for unemployed people and NPOs. COMMUNITY CONVERSATIONS • This national platform provides an opportunity for qualified facilitators, videographers & security guards to generate income for themselves, once a month. • Independent sales agents earn commissions on advertising and sponsorship sales. (We hope to soon relaunch the Community Conversations, which was suspended as a result of Covid.) MAGAZINE • Nationwide, individual magazine sellers earn 50% of the cover price for each magazine they sell. • Non-profit, faith and community-based organisations – instead of retail operations – distribute the magazine throughout South Africa and earn 17% of the cover price of magazines sold by the people they support. • Ordinary South Africans – not just the known voices of our society – are invited to submit editorial and photographic content and are paid for their published contributions. • Independent sales agents earn substantial commissions on advertising and on corporate subscription sales.
