About South African Institute of Taxation
The South African Institute of Taxation (SAIT) is the only professional body in South Africa primarily dedicated to taxation. SAIT is both a regulator of registered tax practitioners (being a recognised controlling body under the jurisdiction of the South African Revenue Service) and the sole professional body promoting tax as a distinct profession. SAIT has more SARS registered tax practitioners in its ranks of members than any other professional body. SAIT also provides a variety of services in support of its members, including webinars, publications, research tools and professional indemnity insurance.
