The Lincoln Alexander South Asian Law Students' Association (SALSA) addresses the needs of students of South Asian origin from Ryerson University Faculty of Law. The Ryerson SALSA is dedicated to confronting stereotypes and obstacles that have impacted South Asian Canadians, and to fostering a forum to discuss these limitations to strengthen and advance the South Asian law community at Ryerson University. Ryerson’s SALSA is based on the tenets of inclusiveness, fair access to justice, education, recognizing and celebrating diversity, and advocacy. Community building among our members is one of SALSA’s most important objectives. The Ryerson SALSA works to cultivate a climate of community and mentorship for future students throughout their time at Ryerson University
