South Coast Lumber Co. was established in 1950 in Brookings, Oregon. As a family-owned company represented by four generations, we prioritize safety and sustainability for our employees. With over 70 years of experience in the wood products manufacturing industry, we are confident that we provide purposeful and fulfilling job opportunities. We strive to sustain our ultimate philosophy and pride of being an integral part of the Brookings economy and growth while providing high-quality and reputable products from the wise use and management of our renewable resources. Our product line has expanded to include green and kiln-dried lumber, engineered industrial components, concrete forming panels, rough-sawn fir siding, sanded plywood, and PS 1 rated sheathing. We are dedicated to meeting the diverse needs of our customers with affordable offerings while continuing to invest and innovate our operations to meet market demand while providing reliable family-wage jobs within our communities. Our mills (2) are located within the Brookings, Oregon area. We have a sawmill and veneer plant located on the north side of town while our plywood mill and LVL mill are right in the middle of town. We also have two distribution locations, one in Merlin, Oregon, and the other outside of Eureka, California. Sourcing raw materials from our local timberland while manufacturing each product and component in our own facilities ensures availability and consistent quality through vertical integration.
