About Southern California Family Mediation
Southern California Family Mediation (SCFM) is a non-profit charitable organization that works within the Los Angeles County Children’s and Dependency Courts to mediate high-conflict, co-parent visitation schedules, and contested adoptions. Because no other court-connected program meets our standards of success where in-person family success rates as high as 94%, and on-line family agreement rates of 88%, SCFM designs and teaches its own mediation training. The training is taught by our Leadership Team, and experts such as Superior Court Commissioner Marilyn Mordetzky and mediation gurus Ken Cloke and Lee Jay Berman. The mission of SCFM is a better form of social peace and justice and, through multipartial mediation, to break the cycle of conflict and intergenerational recidivism for families. Thousands of families at all Los Angeles courts, since 2014, were benefit from SCFM program. SCFM offers best in class Mediation & Conflict Communication education.
