About Southern Cross Cultural Exchange
Southern Cross Cultural Exchange is Australia's oldest student exchange organisation. As a not-for-profit organisation, we believe in furthering tolerance, challenging students to gain international perspectives and understandings, and experience personal growth through cultural exchange. SCCE arranges three, five, and 10-month programs for Australian students to over 20 countries, enabling students to immerse themselves in another culture by attending a local high school, participating in local life with their host families, and often learning a new language. Countries students may choose exchange programs to include France, USA, Germany, Italy, and Sweden, among others. SCCE also believes in sharing the beauty of Australia and Australian culture with the world, arranging volunteer Australian host families for international cultural exchange students who are eager to experience Australia. With an extensive network of Local Coordinators, SCCE provides ongoing support to both host families and cultural exchange students.
