About Southern Off-Road Bicycle Association - Tri-Cities Chapter

Formerly, the Northeast Tennessee Mountain Bike Association (NTMBA), SORBA Tri-Cities is a not-for-profit corporation formed in December 1998 to promote mountain biking and mountain biking opportunities in Northeast Tennessee. We are a chapter of the Southern Off-Road Bicycling Association (SORBA). Our members spend hundreds of hours each year in the woods maintaining trails all across Northeast Tennessee. We work with virtually every major recreational land manager in our region. We have developed trails at Warriors Path State Park, the Elizabethton Watershed and have ongoing projects in the Cherokee National Forest and at Bays Mountain Park. We lead guided trail rides and outings year-round for beginners as well as advanced riders. All rides and events are geared for fun and to help you get as much from your cycling experience as possible. Each year, we host several clinics designed to help beginning riders develop their skills. These clinics also include trailside maintenance and trail building, all designed to promote outdoor fun and fitness. To preserve and promote responsible mountain biking and our natural resources.
