About Southwest Idaho Council of Charitable Gift Planners

The Southwest Idaho Council of Charitable Gift Planners, an affiliate of The National Association of Charitable Gift Planners (CGP), is the only local organization providing educational and networking opportunities to local professionals engaged in philanthropic planning in southwest Idaho. CGP is the leading organization setting standards for charitable gift planners. It brings members together to learn, connect and advocate. It provides education and resources that enrich and advance careers. CGP connects colleagues at all levels through its national network—including those who defined the field. CGP exists to serve our distinguished profession and bring to life the art and science of charitable gift planning. Membership of the Southwest Idaho Council of Charitable Gift Planners is open to fundraisers, planned and major gifts officers, consultants, attorneys, accountants, financial planning professionals, insurance professionals, donor advisors, trust officers and others who feel they would benefit from a network of charitable gift planning professionals. Our programs and meetings provide a forum to share expertise, ideas and knowledge. We combine the people, tools, values and best practices that work together to make charitable giving most meaningful. Membership will provide you with the knowledge and connections you need to thrive in our local community, as well as the broader field of charitable giving.
