About Sovereign Energy Services
Sovereign Energy Services is a team of industry experts, innovators, and thought leaders in the industrial gas, petrochemical, and waste management fields. We offer solutions to real-world problems, improving sustainability and profitability. Sovereign Energy Services has developed an innovative Hydrogen Torch Reactor (HTR) that can meet the needs of two disparate industries in our world today. The first industry is the production of syngas (usually defined as hydrogen and carbon monoxide) to provide clean energy alternatives in an increasingly environmentally conscious world. The second of these applications is the destruction of harmful contaminants, which have proven difficult to destroy, for example the destruction of PFAS. The HTR is an innovative technology for the syngas production industry. Unlike other syngas production systems in operation, the HTR does not require costly and delicate catalysts nor the use of commercially prohibitive plasma. The HTR is also novel in that it provides a reactor with high flame temperature, short residence times, and efficient mixing of the reactants and species in waste gas and wastewater streams. The reaction zone created by the hydrogen rich flame achieves an exceptional energy-dense environment capable of generating free radicals and breaking the bonds in otherwise hard-to-destroy species (e.g., Volatile Organic Compounds (VOCs), Products of Incomplete Combustion (PICs), Persistent Organic Pollutants (POPs), and Per- and poly-fluoroalkyl substances (PFAS)). These species are commonly found in effluent from municipal solid waste, landfill leachates, sewage sludge, and biomass pyrolysis.
