A UK based charity empowering children to reach their full potential through enhanced IT skills, educational sponsorship, healthcare, community development, empowering women and poverty alleviation. * We are building a new children's home which will cater for up to 200 orphans and street children, within the family setting. * We look for educational sponsorship for the children, and actively engage with the sponsors in the child's education. * Help to raise funds for the medical cost of sick children: recent success being sending one of our children to India for a kidney transplant: http://bit.ly/2nXzJZ5 * Empower women by helping them into gainful employment or micro-trade, to restore their independence, alleviate poverty and build their confidence. They are enabled to be able to cater for their children. Bury and Salford: We teach digital and life-set skills to boost the confidence of children and empower them for the future job market. What we teach them is not standard at school, and we keep the classes small so the children can grasp the programming languages as well as other life skills they learn.. We are building social and inter-relational skills through active interactions with their peer groups, volunteers and other local professionals, helping to foster team work and encouraging them to develop a 'can-do' attitude. With the new hub in Bury, we are offering adults digital skills to expand their horizon and gain valuable computer programming skills. We train adults with no digital skills, and also for people who want to learn specialized skills for college or work.
