About Soynergy
Soynergy is a food technology start-up that hopes to establish a biotechnology platform to transform food by-products into functional food. We strive to unlock the nutrients within and give new life to low-value by-products by transforming them into novel food ingredients and products. We hope to provide a value-added solution to food manufacturers that is zero-waste, offers financial returns and retains valuable nutrition in the supply chain. Under the NUS Food Science and Technology programme, Soynergy’s first food product is a non-dairy probiotic drink made from okara, the by-product of soymilk and tofu manufacturing that boasts multiple health benefits. Moving forward, we plan to expand beyond okara and tap into more sources of food-by products to add our unique line of products.
