The Space Acquisition and Integration Office (SAIO) is a sophisticated, integrated services acquisition organization that provides program, contract, and quality management support to HQs Space Operations Command (SpOC), Mission Deltas, Space Base Deltas, and two Combatant Commands: United States Space Command, and North American Aerospace Defense Command / Northern Command. SAIO’s mission is to deliver responsive, mission-focused acquisition solutions to optimize warfighter operations. Aligned as a direct reporting unit to the Space Operations Command Commander, the organization is responsible for the cradle-to-grave management of a complex $12B portfolio, consisting of critical contracted capability related to mission equipment services, operations maintenance, and repair of radar and satellite systems, IT services, knowledge-based services, and some research and development and sustainment, executed by highly qualified and credentialed acquisition professionals.
