About Space Coast United Soccer Club

Space Coast United Soccer Club is located in North Melbourne serving such areas as Viera, Rockledge, Suntree, Melbourne, and Wickham Park. The club has over 1700 players and offers a successful Mini-Kickers program for our youngest members (4 years old), a Youth Development Program for our U6-U10 members, a co-ed and girls recreational program from U12 through U16, and a co-ed and girls competitive program from U10 through U19. The Youth Development Program is a program that focuses mostly on child and player development in an environment that promotes experimentation and creativity and is intended to promote a player’s life-long love of the sport. The YDP puts the needs of the children first and provides a higher level of technical and tactical training in a fun and rewarding environment. Our U10 - U12 Developmental Competitive Program provides progressive technical soccer training for enthusiastic young players that will develop the "whole" person/athlete in an age appropriate context. This program is centered upon principles of team stability, commitment, good sportsmanship and player inclusiveness at the forefront of decision making. These guiding principles are used as the basis for creating a club culture committed to coach and player education. Home games for our Club are played at the new Viera Regional Park fields, and the Wickham Park Soccer fields off Croton Road. Games are generally held on Saturdays throughout the day and sometimes Sunday afternoons. Our Viera and Wickham fields are also equipped with lights for evening practices and some early evening games. SCUSC is committed to teaching our children the skills needed for their future through exposure to organized physical activity, good sportsmanship, and fun.
