About Spangler Candy Company
Spangler Candy is a fourth generation family-owned private company that has been making candy since 1906. Our iconic brands include Dum-Dums®, Bit-O-Honey®, Spangler® Circus Peanuts, Spangler® Candy Canes, Necco Wafers®, Sweethearts®, and Canada® Mints. Spangler is a state-of-the-art manufacturing facility with the latest food production and packaging automation equipment. The company is committed to manufacturing the best quality wholesome product as defined in the guidelines for food safety and food manufacturing regulations established by the United States Food and Drug Administration. We maintain a clean environment, 80% conditioned facility, and excellent working conditions. Spangler places high value on being a positive force in the communities where we do business. The safety and quality of the food we manufacture are of primary importance to our business. We employ approximately 575 people, and have established a working environment where honesty, respect and teamwork guide our behavior and focus our resources. We are committed to providing fair wages and excellent benefits, including an on-site free medical clinic and tuition reimbursement. Our tuition reimbursement program covers 100% of tuition and one-half book costs.
