About Spaniens-Nichen

Spaniens-Nichen is a Spanish incoming agency founded by Niels W. Petersen in the year 2000. We have been working since then preparing cultural and sightseeing tours all over Spain for the Scandinavian market. Danny Rae Mathias, a good friend of Niels', joined Spaniens-Nichen in 2006 to promote our well established itineraries to the British and Irish markets. We take great care of all our customers and really go the extra mile to make them feel at home. All our tour managers live locally and are very knowledgeable and passionate about Spain. This feeling is conveyed to our visitors so they get to experience the "real" Spain. Our customers get an insight into the history, culture, traditions, cuisine and many other aspects of this special country. We have also recently incorporated Portugal as a destination; its proximity, cultural and historical backgrounds are closely linked to those in Spain and indeed complement each other very well. Apart from our cultural and sightseeing packages, we also have a number of hiking holidays in different parts of our geography to suit all walking levels, from relaxed rambling to reaching the higher peaks of our beautiful mountain ranges, all of them undertaken by fully licensed and insured professional walking guides. Our itineraries are innovative and we cover the whole of the Iberian Peninsula, as well as the Balearics, the Canaries, Andorra and the south of France. We have a number of tried and tested tours and we are always looking to liaise with our clients to tailor make new and exciting holidays. Although we work with a good number of tour operators from Denmark, United Kingdom, Ireland and USA, and operate a great number of tours annually, in essence we still remain a family run business where the personal touch is very important to us. The feedback we get is excellent as well as very helpful and encouraging, and we get many repeat customers year after year.
