The UNSW Chapter of the Society of Petroleum Engineers is a branch of an International Society aimed at serving members of the oil and gas industry. Our member base consists of petroleum engineering students and also those interested in oil and gas at UNSW. As a society we believe in bridging the gap between students and the oil and gas industry. The events that we hold aim to develop students professionally and support career development goals of our students. Specifically we strive to teach and exchange technical related to the exploration, development and production of petroleum resources and soft skills in order for students to be the best professionals they can be. Our goal is to do this in an intriguing manner through events that include a wide range of our students and we wish to continually further involve industry.
