About Speak Up Academy
At SpeakUp we teach teens concrete communication skills that build confidence. Historically, professional public speaking classes like Toastmasters have only been offered to adults. As teens navigate high school, college and beyond, they are confronted with the task of speaking in front of and to teachers, peers, and interviewers. Our program is suitable for students at any stage in their development – from students who are comfortable speaking in public and are looking to be more effective communicators to those students who are less comfortable and are looking for opportunities to learn and practice.
