About Special Auction Services
Special Auction Services was established in 1991 and became famous for its auctions of Staffordshire Pot Lids, Prattware, and Commemoratives. In April 2002 the first Toys for the Collector auction was held, and the company became a leading auction house in these two specialities. On 1st September 2006 Special Auction Services was acquired by Specialist Auctions Ltd and the first Jewellery, Antiques and Fine Art auction took place overseen by the new directors Thomas Forrester and Neil Shuttleworth. Special Auction Services (SAS) has since expanded and now holds over 40 specialist auctions and up to 12 monthly auctions each year. In 2012 we were invited to become a member of Society Of Fine Art Auctioneers (SOFAA). Our team prides itself on combining a high level of honesty, expertise and professionalism. Our friendly attitude and personal service sees buyers and sellers returning regularly time after time.
