About Special Education Consultant

I am Ivana Kovacevic with a Master's degree in the field of Special Education and Rehabilitation, and I have more than 10 years of experience both internationally and in the US. I had the opportunity to work with children and youth who had different levels of Learning and Intellectual Disability, Cerebral Palsy, Pervasive Developmental Disorders, as well as various syndromes (Down Sy, Freeman Sheldon Sy, Jacobsen Sy). In my recent position of Special Education Specialist and Case Manager, my responsibilities also included the supervision of paraprofessionals, teachers training , case manager responsibilities, as well as development, coordination, and implementation of IEP plans. I have also participated in various projects and seminars that required teamwork and individual work, as well as planning and implementation of different diagnostic instruments. I am providing remote SPED instruction and consulting services for parents, schools, and students with SLD, ADHD, Autism, Dyslexia, Mild Intelectual Disability.
