About Special Needs Solutions

At Special Needs Solutions we create custom made furniture, clothing, devices, and equipment that help individuals with disabilities progress physically, emotionally, and cognitively. Our goal is to help make it possible for children and adults with special needs to participate as fully as possible in their lives. Many families in our Southern Arizona community have children with special needs. Often commercially available equipment designed to fulfill those needs is costly and, for many families, unaffordable. As a 501(c)(3) nonprofit staffed by volunteer craftspeople, Special Needs Solutions is able to make essential equipment for these families for only the cost of materials. It also happens that there is nothing commercially available to meet the unique needs of a particular child. In these instances, Special Needs Solutions is often able to design, make or modify what is needed. Again, for only the cost of materials.
