About Special Reach

Special Reach Inc. is non-profit organization born in 2011 out of a desire to enrich the lives of parents and children with developmental delays in San Antonio and its surrounding communities. We started as a 100% volunteer organization passionate about making a positive difference in the lives of children with special needs and their families, now over 1,000 children attend our programs annually. We provide summer enrichment programs and other programs during the school year where children with special needs can have a fun and safe experience. Our year-round enrichment programs are carefully designed to ensure that every child has a positive experience and that their caregivers get a well-deserved respite. Our interactive Party Nights provide families with a unique twist to the traditional Parents' Night Out. Special Reach was founded by Cici Osonma, the mother of a child with Autism who has many years of experience and expertise working with children with special needs. Her passion for this population in our community has motivated her to put together a team of highly qualified and very motivated people that work cohesively to provide a successful experience for children with special needs in our community.
