About Special Situations Group
We’re a tightly-knit, special ops team of senior software engineers and architects who come from startup backgrounds and raised venture capital in our early 20’s. We’re all entirely “full-stack” - meaning that we each possess the skills to gather requirements directly from a client or product owner, translate this knowledge into technical requirements, then proceed to build and deploy a product to the public. We operate this way because, in fast-paced environments measured by results, rapid delivery and iteration require a broad set of skills. Our clients have ranged from some of the fastest growing startups, including Setter, Maple and Coinsquare, to publicly traded companies such as Indigo and Restaurant Brands International, as well as major banks and telecommunications.
