Specialty Enterprises is the largest manufacturer of aluminum spray booms and accessories in North America, serving the OEM, dealer/distributor and retail market. Our fully integrated line of related products includes boom cradles, swing arms, boom stands, touchdown wheels, plumbing and bracketry. In addition, Specialty also provides installation and field service, providing a comprehensive solution to your crop spraying needs. From 2010 through early 2013 Specialty focused exclusively on production of the “Legacy” line of aluminum spray booms, a robust design that has been used in concert with most every sprayer available in the U.S. market today, including Case, John Deere, Hagie, Miller, Apache and others. In August of 2013 Specialty introduced a completely new Millennium line of spray booms. This new design incorporates a fully extruded and machined top “cap”, which significantly reduced the number of welds in the “tensioned” area of the boom, thereby improving durability by reducing the likelihood of fatigue cracking. In addition to improved durability, the new top cap extrusions are arced and slotted, to enable the routing of hoses and wiring harnesses so as to provide a “clean” look. Other improvements include a bolt-on hinge design featuring internally mounted fold cylinders, optimized tubular truss connections, hardened steel lift lugs, a wide lower structure for easy spray bar access & nozzle body clearance, and optimally placed and engineered welds. At present, both the “Legacy” and “Millennium” line of standard aluminum spray booms are offered in 120’ and 132’ spans for virtually any nozzle spacing application.
