Specialty Insurance Managers, Inc. was organized in 1976 to transact insurance on both an admitted and non-admitted surplus lines basis. The aim of Specialty is to provide retail producers with assistance in placing insurance risks which their in-house markets are unable or unwilling to cover. Specialty operates in some instances as a managing general agency with complete underwriting, pricing and policy issuance authority and in other cases we are strictly a broker providing access to markets otherwise unavailable to the producer. SIM operates from multiple locations throughout Texas and Oklahoma serving retail agents in Texas, Oklahoma, New Mexico, Missouri, Arkansas and Kansas. We endeavor to represent the most stable and reliable specialty lines insurance companies in the market. In this way we believe we provide our clients access to sound protection backed by excellent service. We understand the strength of any organization such as ours comes not only from the relationships we enjoy with our clients and carrier partners but also the outstanding group of associates who work here. We believe that strength is confirmed through those producers and companies which have agreed to do business with us and those associates who’ve blessed us with their presence for so many years.
