SPECS Civil Solutions, Inc. (SPECS) is a San Diego-based structural design firm. Incorporated in 2013, SPECS is a fully woman-owned business with certifications from the CA CUCP, UDOT, ADOT, LA Metro, the City of San Diego and more. The SPECS team holds degrees and experience in Civil Engineering, Geological Engineering, Business, and Construction. Our team excels in solution development and is focused on early engagement in the design process by coordinating with the project design team to ensure the most efficient and viable solution for cost, environmental impacts, permitting, design coordination, construction timelines, and aesthetics. It is our firm belief that our early engagement in the project provides our clients with more options, a smoother design and approval process, and more confidence as they direct planning and regulatory efforts. SPECS specializes in the design of structures, including bridges, culverts, tunnels, buried vaults, retaining walls, and foundations for various applications. We work to manage the project from the early stages of feasibility and design and follow the project through the approval stages and into construction support.
