About SPECS Management

SPECS is a nonprofit association management + corporate and government event management company, certified as a Women’s Business Enterprise (WBE) through the Women’s Business Enterprise National Council (WBENC), the nation’s largest third party certifier of businesses owned and operated by women in the US. The SPECS team has over 100 years combined experience in event management, program management and marketing and communications. STRATEGIC PLANNING Provide leadership to determine your organization's current standing, prioritize your objectives, develop strategic plans, and execute/manage approved plans. GOVERNANCE Develop partnerships and relationships with board members to foster effective leadership teams. Design clear and concise expectations and provide oversight of each chair position and committee processes. LEADERSHIP Provide best practices and insight from extensive industry experience. Create innovative avenues to enhance every facet of an organization's board and overall standing within their industry. FUNDRAISING AND SPONSORSHIPS Provide guidelines, processes, and oversight for your association to obtain and secure sponsorships to achieve funding goals and partnerships. PROJECT AND PROGRAM MANAGEMENT Delegate roles and responsibilities to board chairs, committee members, and volunteers to achieve organization's short and long-term goals. Provide leadership and oversight to all key functions of the organization's projects and overall program. HUMAN RESOURCES We act as your company HR, ensuring your organization is compliant with any government or industry rules and regulations. Implement and/or manage succession planning and onboarding of new board members. Address and manage any personnel affairs within the organization. MARKETING & COMMUNICATION Management of marketing and communication via various platforms, some including MailChimp, Eventbrite, Salesforce Marketing Cloud, Constant Contact, Survey Monkey, CVent, HeyOrca, and Slack.
