About Spectra Company

Established in 1985, Spectra Company is a historic construction team comprised of over 150 builders, craftsmen and preservation professionals, offering a wide range of services including general contracting, materials restoration and preservation consulting. Spectra Company, for over 30 years, has been entrusted with the rehabilitation of over 400 of the most cherished, historical, architectural and cultural landmarks in the country. Our preservation work conforms to the guidelines set forth in the "Secretary of the Interior's Standards for Rehabilitation"." We have completed such projects as the Pantages Theatre and El Capitan Theatre in Hollywood, The Hollywood Roosevelt Hotel, the Gamble House in Pasadena, Frank Lloyds Wright’s Ennis House, the Villa Rivera in Long Beach, the 28th Street YMCA in Los Angeles. Spectra Company maintains memberships in California Preservation Foundation (CPF) Arizona Preservation Foundation (APF), American Institute of Conservation (AIC), The American Institute of Architects (AIA), Los Angeles Conservancy, Association of Preservation Technology International (APTI), Western Association for Art Conservation (WAAC) and the National Trust.
