About Spectral Mapping Services SMAPS Oy

SMAPS Oy is a specialized aerial survey consultancy providing technical support, navigator/operator training, aircrew, processing and related technology sales services. Our experience bank covers several hundred aerial survey projects around the world since 1985 for numerous different applications using a range of sensor technologies onboard both manned and unmanned airborne platforms. While specializing on airborne hyperspectral(HSI) mapping, we represent group of people with a combined 50 man years of experience of both commercial and scientific airborne mapping from both project management and field operative points of view. We have been coordinating between subcontractors and authorities, installing, planning, operating and training aircrews for large, medium and small format airborne cameras, airborne/mobile mapping LiDAR and HSI sensors. We have ran projects around the world including Europe, Americas, Africa, Asia and Oceania. We are the knowledge link bridging the worlds of mapping, flying and applications, for the benefit of both commercial and scientific users.
