About Spectrum Engineering
Spectrum Engineering Limited was founded in 1982, and was set up to fill a gap in the Irish market for an independent HVAC Commissioning specialist firm. We are the longest established independent commissioning company in Ireland. Spectrum has expanded with the industry and set up HVAC Installation and Maintenance divisions and have recently formed Spectrum Environmental Limited to service the cleanroom and hospital industry. We are also a partner for a new service in Ireland called AEROSEAL which is a system that can seal ducts from the inside. Our directors have combined experience in the sector of over 80 years and are hands on overseeing all of our projects. We have installed and commissioned many large projects in the Industrial, Commercial, Leisure, Retail & Healthcare sectors and have sufficient resources to deliver any size project on time. We have a particular expertise of completing projects within tight programmes. We have been employed by several major Air Handling Unit Manufacturers for a number of years to test their units to EN Standards. Their units are used worldwide. We have also been employed directly by leading consultants and clients in both trouble shooting and witnessing roles on major projects. The Office of Public Works who deal with all government contracts also employs us for independent advice and for troubleshooting of problem buildings. It has always been our policy to keep ahead of the latest developments, and use the best instrumentation, personnel and equipment available. All of our instruments are calibrated annually traceable to national standard. All our staff are continuously trained in-house and the majority of our engineers have third level engineering qualifications. All of our commissioning is carried out to current CIBSE, BSRIA & ASHRAE commissioning codes. Spectrum is available to work worldwide and have recently completed projects in the UK, Europe, the Middle East and Africa.
