We change lives! The greatest gift you can give a person is to simply include them! SPEED OF SIGHT CHARITY does exactly that by running track events for people of ALL ages regardless of ability or disability. Empowering a disabled child or adult a chance to forget, if only for a little while, that they have a disability, has a profound effect on their self-worth, self-esteem and mental wellbeing. Currently, we have four specially designed and built cars - two racing cars and two all-terrain buggies all named after Mike's guide dogs. Each vehicle has been designed with dual controls, and twin steering wheels and the buggies are equipped with hand controls. We have even created corporate days where you and your staff can experience being blindfolded whilst driving! Not only is this great fun, but it also increases awareness of difficulties faced by disabilities, as well as encourages essential team-building skills such as trust and communication. Currently, our circuits are at Three Sisters, Wigan - Teeside Autodrome Karting, Middlesborough and Llandow Circuit, South Wales. Although we are looking to add to these venues all of the time.
