These three entities were later merged to support major defence programs such as the RAFALE fighter jet and the LECLERC tank. This consolidation led to the creation of EADS Test & Services in 2000, coinciding with the formation of EADS. The organisation was integrated into the EADS Defence & Security Division and rebranded as Cassidian Test & Services in 2010, following the divisionโs transformation into Cassidian. With the establishment of the Airbus Group on January 1, 2014, and the restructuring of EADS Defence and Airbus Space, Test & Services seized the opportunity for a fresh start. Opening its capital to investors who shared its forward-looking vision, the company rebranded as Spherea in July 2014. This marked a new chapter focused on innovation, market expansion, and leadership in test and measurement solutions. Today, SPHEREA is present in six countries: France, Germany, the United Kingdom, the United States, China, and India.
