The menopause is real. It is so much more than a hot flush, rage and HRT. As GPs, we see women in their 40s, 50s and 60s bring their symptoms and experiences into our surgery, often feeling that they are ‘making a fuss’ or ‘should just crack on’. We believe women should put their own health first and pay attention to the physical, mental and sexual symptoms of menopause and perimenopause. Actively identifying and tackling the symptoms of menopause, and having the knowledge and awareness to do so, can have significant impacts on our quality of life both now and into the future. Our online clinic is here to provide evidence based information and advice. Our patient centred approach takes a holistic approach to lifestyle, relationships, and mental health as well as the latest in medical treatment and research.
